Cookies for breakfast, cuz when you've got a kid with an eating disorder who's willing to eat something....you let them eat it!!! Love you my beautiful & perfect son. 😘😘💙💚
@ajmommy, there currently isn't a proper name for whatever disorder he has, he's technically undiagnosed at the moment because specialists haven't been able to figure out exactly what's going on with him, but for now they're just labeling it as a general "eating disorder". We knew something was wrong when he was around 10/11 months old, he's been vomiting 1-4 times a day since he was that age, never skips a day, it's always daily...he shows interest in food but can rarely actually eat it. The majority of the time he instantly gags or vomits when trying to eat something, so his main troubles are with swallowing/vomiting. It's been this way for over a year now and we still don't have answers, but we're currently working with a new team of doctors and are closer than ever to diagnosing him and coming up with a treatment plan. He's currently in multiple types of therapy to try and help him be able to chew/swallow/eat better, but he's still undergoing multiple tests and treatment plans to try and undercover the actual source of the problem, it could be multiple things and right now we're just on the road to figuring it out. 😊😊 since the problems started he's basically been living off liquids, water, juice, mainly milk with formula, so for him to eat a cookie (even a few bites), is a big victory for us! 😊 Before all this he was breastfed so it's basically been liquids and some baby foods throughout his whole life. And I don't mind you asking at all! I'm very open about it just in case anyone is ever going through something similar and needs some advice.
awe yaay ! I hope you guys get the answers soon! and I'm so happy he was able to eat some of that cookie!
