How old were your babies when you started giving them baby food?

We started my son with rice cereal at 3 months and 3-3 1/2 weeks old then at his appointment with his Dr she said it was ok to feed him food. There's 1st foods out there that says about 4 months. We started him on that when he was about 4 months and he's now 5 months

Ok I feed it to him with bowl and spoon that is fine too right?

He's been on cereal since he was 2 weeks. That was Dr. Orders. It helped with him spitting up some at first. Now if I don't put it in his bottle he won't sleep for more than a couple hours and he wants a bottle every 2 to 3 hours. With the cereal he seems to get fuller, but he still acts hungry when his bottle is gone. He's already on 7 Oz at 2 months.

I mean I'm not going to go and start him tomorrow just cause someone else did. As I said I'm just curious about opinions and real life experiences.

I saw someone on here say she started as early as 2.5 months. My baby is 2 months and already noticing me eat. Last night he was watching me eat potato soup and started smacking. He can also already sit up with assistance. I'm curious because he never seems to get full. He fights his bottles sometimes making a face like they taste bad to him. I'm gonna ask his doctor tomorrow but I just want some other opinions cause I know ultimately it's my decision.

My doctor gave the go ahead at four months.

4 months, baby food says 4,6,9 months on it. Doctor also told me it was ok to start her.

6-7 months. It's best to wait until at least 6 months.
