I have been feeling my baby a lot less the last 3 days! But she's defo kicking more than 10 times in day so does this mean there is no need to worry? X
I think mines the dad @learose over past couple of weeks I tried to notice and most of time I can notice a pattern and when he/she asleep but sometimes for example one night at midnight could be on one next night movements but quieter next night asleep so I just try and notice the movements and anything out of ordinary i would ring midwife. I used t worry constantly but over past 2 weeks or so got easier as little one moving lots more and regularly as I'm 29 weeks today. Is hard though int it to count especially at work and when your busy xx
I had my 28 week appointment and my midwife asked me if I was feeling movement I said yes just unsure about patterns and things and she said well 10 movements in 12 hours which I heard isn't right for every baby. She then said if it's any constellation neither of mine had routines I was like oh thanks!!😂🙈
@learose, glad the app putting ur mind at rest hun and im due 10th march but ill be having her a week early due to c section 😦 and @sophiegreen id be having strong words if i was you.. have a read up on kick counts... 10 in 12 hours is rediculas i cant even belive a midwife has given out such faulse information as its sooo important as well.. have a read up on it and the discuss it with ur midwife.. iv had midwifes and consultants tell me on all three of my pregnancies that its 10 kicks up to 2 hours anything less isnt good so they say and if that keeps up then they ask you to go in and get monitored Xx
Just used that app @babyboots and she done 10 kicks in 2 hours thanks for telling me about it il use it more to put my mind at rest now, first baby so wasn't sure what to do xx
no no no... lol look online I've been told over and over agin its ten kicks/2 hour hun 12 hour is half a day!!! from third trimester when ur ment to record babys kicks its defo 10 per 2 hour... theres a thing online called kicks count.. they an organisation that help mums to be keep babys safe and stop still birth babys by showing how to monitor your baby from its kicks... its so important @sophiegreen Xx
baby bump pro its called it has the kick counter on it pluss loads of other stuff including a forum with other mummies feel free to add me if you join up @cmcdon203 same name and pic as on here... babyboots Xx
best thing to do is start a kick count.. so you can always go back to the chart and see how/when babys kicked... iv always been told ten kicks every two hours is the recommended kicks from 28 weeks when they should be monitored hun... only you nos ur babys kick pattern if its any diffrent to normal its so important to go get monitored hun... i was always worried is baby moving enough ect so i started the kick counts on an app.. its helped loads as i can see when she kicked and at what time ect.. Xx @learose
The ten times rule doesn't work because every baby is different, ive always been told if you notice a reduce in movements, even if your baby is still moving you need to get checked out, mums instinct is always right and only you know your babies pattern x
some days they get really active and some days they rest more. however if there is a day they kick less than 10times ring your midwife. better be safe than sorry xx
