Whn should I change nipples in dr brown bottles to level 1? My baby is 2 months old

same here my baby still drink from a level 1 nipple and he 4 month the Med flow nipples put out to much for him to drink but every baby is different

like @capri2015 said level 2 is 3 months but my son is 4 months today and still using level 1 and is fine

@babygluttony, we have a reflux. So doc told us try cereal.

But I thought that you shouldn't give a baby rice cereal til they are a bit older. then again everyone is different and doctors are different too.

I mean I know 3 is meant for them when they are older because the hole is bigger so I figured it would work with the thickens the cereal makes the formula. you can try it with level 2. I just jumped to 3 and if it was too much for her I would go to level 2. but it was fine for her. so I guess I'm saying try the level 2 if you make with rice cereal before you go out and buy more nipples. I also use one of the free bottles I got and cut the nipple slightly and use that for rice cereal.

@babygluttony, I add rice cereal, and it was forever, also he just ate 2 oz instead of 4. Should I get level 3?

I've always had level 1 and used them. my daughter is 5 months and still eats fine with 1. Dr browns are not good for rice cereal, if you make in the bottle, but when I did that I used level 3 and that worked. only thing is the cereal stuck to the top of bottle

When u changed for level 1?

I've never changed my son's and he's 7 months lol

level two is 3 months and up but my son is fine with level one and he is going on 4 months
