So I have inverted/ flat nipples am I still going to be able to breastfeed?
For us it was definitely a learning curve, I have one inverted and one not.. So I could see the difference . The biggest problems I had with/still have is getting Lucas into the right position for that boob and to open his mouth nice and wide. The best thing to do is "prime it" massage a little and try to express just a small amount and coat ur nipple with it. If I didn't do that he wouldn't latch correctly because it was more work for him ..
my nipples are too.i used a nipple shield at first.on jan 1 i tried without it and we had great success.i tried to use the nipple shield the other day,i hurt too bad,i had to take it off.my son is 3 months
tell your Dr (: they give you special shields
