Anyone have any advice for doing taxes? We're together, live together, have a baby together but we're not married...How do we claim our daughter? Should he claim me and our daughter as dependents because I worked for less than half the year last year? I'm confused lol....ask me about breastfeeding or birth or child development and I've got ya but this shit got my brain going 😑

one of you can claim baby, not both.... my husband could only claim me as a dependant last time because I was under 20 and had college credits

@esthelaaa, thanks for the tips! @kattastrophe, which one of us would stand to gain the most, and will the other parent have to deal with child support coming after them? Also can anyone explain which option we would choose, custodial or noncustodial parent?

child support only comes if you file for child support specifically. the person who worked the most can get the most money back from claiming
