@monstermommy, I thought so too cause my Dr.told me the same thing

my doc said there definitely is a mucus plug. I lost mine in one big bloody glob, so I think it is legitimate.

@kenzgarner, well my Dr.said it is so I don't know if its a theory or not

My doc said there is no such thing as a mucus plug. He said when you're pregnant that there is a lot of mucus and some might discharge more at one time or another but there is no such thing as a plug.

Watery doesn't sound right I paid attention to the slimy part I would probably call because they'll want to test it I'm sure and your baby may be on its way!!

k thank you but do a mucus plug come out as much like leaking cause I never experienced losing my mucus plug cause all my births was super early and my other four babies was premature but with this one I made it to 36weeks and I never made it that far

Just call L&D and tell them so that they know but it's sounds like your mucus plug!:)
