Anyone from NYC or Nassau know of any ob gyn that would delay the cord clamping/cutting to at least 20 mins or more? it's so hard to find a doctor that actually cares about you birth plan and what you want. :(

you can specify. just becuase they don't like too doesn't mean that they won't. won't baby is born tell them no. your the parent

@gabesmommy, all the midwives that take my insurance are fully booked for April due dates. I'm on the wait list for one but they can't guarantee anything so I'm resorting to an ob gyn that doesn't treat me like a number and listens to my birth wishes.

Honestly look for a midwife I'm in Suffolk county and I use stony brook midwives they respect my whole birth plan delayed cord cutting until it stops pulsing immediate skin to skin for an hour non medicated birth I'm so glad I switched from obgyn to midwife
