Ladies , what method do you guys use when washing bottles ? I've noticed when I soak & wash with soap and super hot water I can still smell formula ... My son has 7 bottles in total and once he has 5 dirty I boil them after every single use and I've noticed the nipples and the bottles look a lot cleaner and have no smell what so ever ... Is there any other quick way ?
Online microwave ones are around 15 and than there's one that steam with out the microwave and those are around 40 I think and than there also ones that u can put in the dishwasher if u have one for around 8
@cupcakecodi, I seen that ! But online haven't seen in store , do you happen to know if there expensive ?
@mamalamadingdong, I told hubby same thing , we've only had these bottles for like a month and some for 2 and I'm already tired of them lol I really like the avent ones and my son seems to like them too
Boiling works best but they also have steam cleaning machines that you can purchase that helps sanitize them as well
in target they have a bottle soap, and it works great I'm sorry I forgot what its called and its around 7dollers
I haven't used formula so I can't make a 100% guarantee, but try spraying some white vinegar and maybe letting it soak in it for awhile. I wash everything with vinegar before using soap or anything. (The smell does go away, lol.) Maybe it's time for new bottles if it has that deeply penetrated the plastic, though?
@arlene2712, I bought a bottle steamer. It was about $40 but I use it every day since it's so easy and quick. I wash bottles with soap and water then load up the steamer.
