@skibbs, try baby ganics laundry detergent it's all organic and fragrance free. They also make baby wash that you can try to burts bees or honest company. I would stick organic body wash.

yea new babies get rashes easily. I had to switch my body wash to dove one with green for delicate skin. and we switched to baby detergent. also, the only baby wash we use is burt bee baby, I recently tried a different brand and my 11 week old broke out again. :5

when it happened with my son the dr suggested changing laundry detergent and using a milder baby soap, since it's hard to pinpoint which one is causing it. a generic sensitive-skin baby soap made the difference for us, but oftentimes it's also laundry detergent
