any other mommies questioning getting their baby's vaccinated ? I've read up on vaccines and I'm going against it...

I hate the fact that I'm seeing women using an autoimmune disease as an excuse to justify forcing something on their child that isn't even completely necessary.

I have lupus (SLE), lupus nephritis, and kidney failure, I don't have my vaccines and I've stopped forcing them on my daughter. I will only be letting this baby get certain vaccines but not all of them.

do your own research and don't let other women you don't even know change your mind. you don't know if any of these women have even done any unbiased research. doctors will always be biased. the same doctor that says vaccines are 100% necessary may be the same guy who will tell you it's okay to put cereal in a 10 week old baby's bottle (there's a doctor "prescribing" that in my area so it's been driving me nuts, everyone knows that's a huge no-no)

you can't always trust your doctor, some of them are old fashioned and not up to date. I'm not saying DON'T listen to your doctor, but I am saying listen to people's opinions but educate yourself, do your OWN research. don't blindly follow people because they say something is the right choice.

I have a line of doctors in my family..trust me, you want to talk to them before you read up on it. Nothing better then getting a doctors perspective. Everyone has an opinion but their is a reason why we have vaccines and I think it's insane to not get your child vaccinated. I vaccinate my daughter and I will also be vaccinating my son. Hope you get some good feed back.

I also have autoimmune diseases. I will try to vaccinate my child (but I can not get vaccines myself because of medical issues). I'm very sad when people willingly don't vaccinate and purposely risk mine and my child's life, when it is proven to not cause autism. And to me, autism seems better than polio but I've never had it so I don't know. I guess for me, it's not just about one child but all of them. I will vaccinate to keep your child healthy If they can not get the vaccine for a real reason

My child will absolutely be vaccinated, no question. I'm thrilled California has passed a law to restrict unvaccinated children from public schools!

In most states they wont let you in school if you arent vaccinated.

I have an auto immune disease and there's a good chance my child will too. which means that she will catch things easier than most. Ive already decided she'll be vaccinated and I won't let others around her if they aren't vaccinated.

I agree with @rbryanna. My family was all vaccinated and it was never something to think twice about.

choosing to vaccinate is your choice I just want to clear up its 100% not linked to autism. that's just a myth to scare parents

All my kids are going to be vaccinated especially my youngest who is almost 4 months old especially the whooping cough (you don't want to lose them after everything) it's better and there are very few cases that lead to autism

@jermerica, the articles I read were saying some vaccines were linked to autism

My child will be vaccinated, I was along with the rest of my family so my son will be no different.

I have thought about it and researched some but my first born was perfectly fine getting vaccinated and I would rather have my baby get the vaccines than the diseases themselves. And yes California is very strict about getting them too. A friend of mine wasn't allowed to take her child to school without them no matter how hard she fought.

What all info did u read??

Just so you know in California they don't let you enroll the child in school unless they have all their vaccines
