Yes the nipple shield will help wonders to start off with. The medela ones are 👌🏼.

usin a nipple sheild helped pull mine out a bit after awile, i still hv a lil trble but its out more without tha nipple sheild, hv 2 hld my boob a certain way 2 help her latch on but we're doin fine without a nipple sheild now. jst gota keep at it
