Really anxious for my next doctors appt and to start my birth plan .. What are some important things to remember ?

remember that even if you write out a birth plan it may not happen that way.. and only you can control what your family and visitors do not the nurse..

@aphrodite2014, that I know but I still want certain things to be known that I do have control over lol

@aphrodite2014, I better be able to control what the nurse does its my body unless theirs complications.. Or emergency c section etc

@chelsearomano, that's understandable but most don't realize going into this that Noone can control everything... what things where you thinking about putting in your birth plan?.. I'd suggest thing like pain meds or no? how monitoring is done for baby, when vitals are done on baby after birth as long as everything goes smoothly.. those kinda things.. if you don't want visitors at all then that's something else you want in there

@chelsearomano, there are certain things they have to do.. vital signs sometimes an IV is nessissary.. and fetal monitoring is nessissary to an extent..

@aphrodite2014, that I'm aware of and things like that I understand but other things I can control I do want known theirs no harm in having something stating your wishes if you have the option even knowing labor and delivery is completely unpredictable.
