Don't get me wrong, I'm truly grateful that I'm pregnant but I have some insecurities. As a recovering drug addict, using is all that I knew and a lot of my using was based off acceptance, numbing pain, and weight loss. I was 90 lbs back in April and used to justify not being able to have children by convincing myself that I would be able to maintain my small figure. I am a duel diagnosis case so I carry baggage and mental illness. I was a self harmer for 12 years and was diagnosed anorexic in high school. so lately gaining weight has been bothering me. I love that I have a little human being in my belly and I in no way regret getting pregnant or even going into recovery, it's just been a difficult adjustment as my pants and shirts get tighter. I'm hoping that once I get out of the awkward stage I'll be more confident in my skin, right now I just feel like a whale... ugh and I'm super emotional anyways..

Мама двоих (2 года, 4 года), ждёт третьего
im a recovering anorexic gave me 1 month to live when i was 16 told i wasnt going to be able to have children and i was gonna die. i am 26 and have two beautiful girls and another baby on the way. An yes the weight gain get me sometimes but the fact that its for my baby my child the one who depends on me makes the situation a little easier. Dont ever think your weight gain is bad an you look gross cuz im sure 100% you do not. i myself was also part of a bad crowd of people. been there not worth it. becoming a mom was the greatest gift god gave me and it changed everything for me. i am now clean for over 4 yrs and maintain a healthy weight because my children need me, i need to set an example and my life is so mich more worth living then it was. you got this momma.

В ожидании первенца
I am almost 4 years in recovery from addiction and self harm and I was bulimic so gaining weight or even just seeing a body change was very hard for me in the beginning it gave me extreme anxiety at times I didn't even know how to handle it and to be completely honest if I didn't have my boyfriend I'm not sure how I would have coped all I can say is talk what you're feeling is okay and you're not wrong for feeling that way it's new to you and having issues like these make the already hard changes in pregnancy even harder but just talk to someone because a support system is the best thing for you also if you ever need to talk you can message me on here...you're doing great
