⚠️First time mommy concern⚠️
So earlier I was waiting in line for an appointment and I fainted. This NEVER happened to me even before being pregnant, so this really scared me! All I remember was that I was feeling very light headed and dizzy, then I sat my purse down on this desk beside me to get my water bottle out and then I ended up on the floor on my back. I woke up and seen a security guard and a few other people help me get up saying someone call an ambulance. I went to the bathroom and I was sweating a lot and next thing you know, I was in the back of a paramedics truck. They took my vitals and it came back normal but I was super worried about my baby so my bf met me up there and drove me up to emergency/labor and delivery just to make sure our baby was fine. We heard her heart beat and she was okay but I was told I'm even more anemic than I was before. The nurse told me that may have triggered me passing out so I just wanted to know if any of you mommies gone through anything like this? Btw, I just bought some iron pills too.
Hydration is KEY! Be sure to take your iron pills with something on your stomach otherwise it could make you feel the same way. So glad you and baby are okay!!
The same thing happened to me a few months ago. The nurse said my sugar was low and that I needed to make sure that I have snacks with me and some water. All of my vitals were good, but I just had low sugar. It was in the 60s.
yes and also if you don't get your iron situated there's a high chance your baby could be born with jaundice. be careful
Thanks ladies this is more common than I thought. I definitely need to start drinking more water and taking iron cus I would hate for that to happen again. I work 2 jobs as well (both requiring me to stand up) and I think I've been over working myself lately. My body is just finally giving out so I'll probably have to let both of them go soon if not one of them. I'm starting to feel out of breath more often and of course the back pains from standing up so much😞 @muva.mermaid @huntersmommy19 @mommybri2x. @kaitkerwin @dearmichelle @elenasmommy
I'm super anemic so it happens to me all the time. Pregnancy just made it worse. Next time you feel that dizzy feeling just sit down where ever you are even if it's in the middle of the floor. Don't want to fall and hurt the baby. And make sure you're taking your iron. They made me super nauseated but I take them anyway or i feel dizzy all day
Your not the only one Hun!!! I'm 31 weeks and still feeling faint here and there. Drink a lot of water and if you feel faint sit down and breathe!
yes. my first pregnancy was me falling all the time. stay hydrated , take iron pills or vitamins , stay hydrated and try to watch yourself. when you feel weak have a seat and just breathe
happened to me!! little man was on my vena cava which is the main vein that takes blood to and from your heart. I have had it happen multiple times
And don't stand for long periods of times!
