My four month old hasn't pooped in nine days any suggestions on how to help him?

I took my sons temperature when he was constipated. pooped with in the hour

well my SO just informed me that he did three days ago and just neglected to tell me or write thank you all

right now when my mama can't poop she goes maybe 2 days without pooping and the third day she finally goes so it hasn't really been bad for her but I would definitely go to children's hospital .

i agree with @drain_family, girl that's not safe at all.

really because I pump and the hospital said their supposed to go up to 5 days and anything more than that your supposed to go back in to get checked out.

Breast fed or formula fed? I would definitely call in--breast fed babes can technically go 10 days without pooping but that's on the verge of too long.

nine days?? thats a very long time and dangerous....try tummy massages, you need to apply a bit of pressure. Also, call the doctor, he may need to prescribe something or give you advice
