It's been over 24 hours since my membrane sweep and cervical stretch. Had tons of bleeding directly after, and still spotting. Had sex last night, did a huge grocery shopping trip and lots of walking today and still no sign of the sweep working. Baby girl is moving like crazy, which has been super painful today 😳 But I'm being induced on the evening of my due date due to signs of preeclampsia so I would really like her to decide to come on her own prior to that so I can skip the induction. Come on princess!

Yeah so was I! Haha, my due date was yesterday 😩 not being induced til Thursday. So hoping something starts! Haha @kmlac7 hopefully it works for you!
@caitlynnrosee, Oh no 😣 when's your due date? I've heard of it not doing anything more than I have of it actually kick starting labor 😒 but I was hopeful, lol.
@karnamarie, I may try that! I should probably be relaxing anyways, lol. Just have to wait for my husband to be home since I can't get back out on my own, lol😂
I had a sweep done 3 days ago, and it didn't do anything 😩 sometimes it doesn't help at all. Sucks
take a bath! sometimes just relaxing can kick start stuff too!

I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.

I think I've decided to let my doc sweep my membranes today. So my son will be here today!
Friday is my due date .. And I have no type of sign of her coming.. Impatient ...
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
@caitlynnrosee, Oh man! They will be inducing me Wednesday if nothing happens before and I really don't want to have to experience that lol. I'll cross my fingers it works for both of us! :)
