what can i expect on my first ob appointment which is today

urine test to confirm, probably blood work, if your lucky an ultrasound and a papsmear @momyof3

i had a blood work done in December but today is my first ob appointment with the doctor

@momyof3, my first apt. They ran a lot of blood/urine check weight and blood pressure and did a transvaginal ultra sound

probably a papsmear and ultrasound but lost drs tell you if they are going to do one bc you have to schedule it@momyof3

My first appintment they just gave me a pregnancy test and literature and explained how everything was going to work. At the second I had a urine test, blood work, an ultrasound and I refused the pap smear.

can you refused to get a pap o you have to get it

Its for your health & the baby. So I wouldnt refuse it.

i was just asking as some mommy commented that she refused it

I've heard some people refuse because they have heard that others have miscarried soon after and they know it's not related but don't want to risk it so they wait until the second trimester
