Any recommendations about birth control after birth ? NOT GETTING ON DEPO again 😑. Not getting the…

I'm going back on the pill. Ive tried pills, patches & implanon. I didn't like any other than the pill. It's hard at first to get used to taking them daily but they get the job done. Implanon was a nightmare.. had no periods but spotted every damn day. Patches were okay but would start unsticking 2 days before the day to switch them out.. alot of the times it would fall and i would have to open another early to replace it. Ugh not to mention the nasty scar looking square it would leave on my skin.. the adhesive would do that. After a while it started irritating my skin. The pills are good, you get a period which isnt a bad thing. We need to get a monthly.. just the way it goes unfortunately. Theres many women that go on other things so they dont have to get a period but in all honesty its needed for our body to get rid of waste. I recommend the pill. It helps regulate your period & makes them lighter, cramping isnt as bad & some even help your acne :) lol

I hated the depo and the mirena. idk if I'm gonna use birth control for awhile after having my twins. BC seems to have so many hormones. of course I don't want to get pregnant right away. but I would like my body to enjoy a break. I'm definitely only happy with the pill tho

@floress_j, THANKS . I was on depo for 3 years got off because of weight gain. Then did the implanon and had a period for 2 months STRAIGHT heavily . They gave me medicine to make them lighter so i got on the pill and that went well until i decided to have a baby . So i think i might get on the pills again

@shannaa24, yea i might stick with the pill. I dont wanna get pregnant right after ..

@mommy0416, the only thing is, is remembering to take it. and picking the prescription up on time. but it definitely is safer, it works great, and less hormones. I don't think even noticed a change of hormones with them. the depo shot which I tried over the years, has crazy amounts of hormones, getting on it and off is miserable.
