UTI and Antibiotics
Have any of you all taken Cephalexin for a UTI? My dr said I had "slight bacterial infection" and she wanted to put me on antibiotics for a week. I'm a FTM had a mmc @ 14 wks 2 years ago so anything outside of the norm makes me a bit nervous. Did any of you have/had any bad adverse events with this medication.

I was on that in the beginning of my pregnancy. I had like three UTIs in the first few months. I didn't have any weird symptoms from it. Just make sure to eat when you take it because I did end up throwing up one of the times I took it on an empty stomach. But it worked really well for me, other than it taking a little longer to kick in because it's not as strong. That was definitely the downside.
I'm on it right now and I have to be on this cream for yeast now just bc the antibiotic
it makes you down there smell like the antibiotic, it didn't work for me. the doctor ended up having to give me macrobid and that worked fine.
Has anybody had a UTI even after antibiotic ?
This uti!! 🙁 I’ve had it for a while now, took antibiotics and they didn’t help... thinking I’m going to have to go back to the doctor 🤦🏻♀️
So as I was at the ER the other day, they found that I have a UTI, and the doctor prescribed me macrobid. I know they say it's safe in pregnancy but I still hate having to take an antibiotic:( have any of you guys had to take macrobid?
Any of you ladies been on the depo shot and not have a period?
I’m scheduled for a c section Thursday and I’m a bit nervous.

@autumn, @amazing2014, @xtianaaax thank you for your responses. I feel relieved that some of you have taken it without serious adverse events. As I said I am very nervous. I'm 14w1day so the correlation between my last incident of mmc 2yrs had nothing to do with an antibiotic. A sigh of relief! Thank you again ladies. I find that this board is much better than the others I'm a part of.
