I'm pretty sure my doctor has gotten my due date wrong. like completely wrong. I'm really starting…

My first midwife was off by almost 2 weeks. An ultrasound is what determined my due date

I've had all my ultrasounds and they're sticking to their guess..even though he's way bigger than he should be. I also showed a lot earlier and felt his movement's way earlier than most of the people I know. By my last period I'm about 2 weeks ahead of what they say but I've also been told you can have your period while pregnant. my mom had hers until she was 3 months pregnant with me. @cass_lynne

Did they tell you anything about the organ development? I was thinking the same until I saw the organ measurements. My boy is super heavy and has long bones but his brain and kidneys are right on schedule. But they could be wrong! wouldn't be the first time a due date was off even with an ultrasound it can be tricky. Good luck!

they didn't tell me anything really. the only reason they told me his size was because I asked. I should have asked about that too but this is my first pregnancy and I'm kind of clueless about most things lol @jana.bear

I was shocked I had a big baby until my mom told me that my birth mothers family were giants. I guess my two Bio brothers were 6'4" and 6'6" and both over 9lbs at birth so it's very likely my baby is just going to be giant. I was a tiny preemie and I'm not tall only 5'5" and my husband is just an average sized man about 5'10" with an athletic build. I argued with them about my due date until my docter explained the organ measurements.

I started to show early, and my ultrasounds showed that I was further along than we initially thought. My OB didn't change my due date because babies can grow at different paces, and mine is just a big baby. I'm 32 weeks 2 days, and he's measuring at 32 weeks 5 days.
