fasting should be 95 and lower 1 hr should be 140 and lower and 2 hrs 120 and lower

They wanted my fasting below 90 and 1 hr after eating below 120.

See I found this online and now I'm scared to take my insulin bc I feel I do not need it. My sugar levels are fine to me.

These are the numbers I was told. I test my blood an hour after eating, not 2 though.

I have gd since 8 weeks pregnant. my fasting has to be 95 or lower and 120 or lower during the day. I started on the nph insulin because it works throughout the day even though my sugar levels were ok. as I got further along, my harmed began to release more sugar and I began to have sudden spikes, so now I take 5 unit of fast acting insulin before meals. insulin does not cross the placenta so it won't harm your baby however sugar does. If your doctor wants you on insulin it's because they are preparing you for what's ahead. I felt like I didn't need it at first but now I'm glad I did it because my baby is safe. @mommyoftwo09
