Okay so I am reaaally trying to not blow up right now. My fiancée has always worked late night and graveyard shifts, recently quit his old job and got a new one, only part time though. Anyways, so he's been home a lot more lately and therefore has drastically changed my routine with myself and baby Melody...she has been going through a growth spurt, and yes it is normal for sleep patterns to vary and cluster feeding and whatnot...but I try and make it easier on her and I both usually by gently getting her to sleep, and then either putting on a wave noise maker or just being quiet and having a sleepy environment so she stays asleep. But now that he's home all night more and all day, despite my best efforts to try and help him switch to sleeping earlier and waking earlier, which he agreed he wanted to do, he's been staying up all damn night and sleeping all day. Even when we have shit to do and he stays up all day, he'll STILL keep us up at night. And that's when he chooses to do everything! He'll sit around watching tv or playing his game during the day but the minute I put the child down he friggin wakes her up!!! Until he finally decides to sleep, which is past 4am, then I get to sleep finally and put the baby down. Which he doesn't seem to fully understand even though I voiced this is it's not fair to me because I have to stay up all day to take care of and entertain the baby whether or not I've slept, and now he's keeping me up all night too 😡 I am trying to be understanding but in my head all I wanna do is yell and scream at him how insensitive he's being and to stop being selfish and making me suffer and waking the baby........he's rummaging through the room now looking for his social security card that he's lost on 3 seperate occasions 😒 the room is a piled up mess and I'm not seeing sleep happening for me for at least a few more hours 😔

@esthelaaa, 😂😂😂 Sorry, that was too funny...I would, have done a few times but I don't want him to be tired to go to work, especially driving to and from....so I gotta be good today LOL

@kreeblim, oh sorry and also I COMPLETELY agree that a lot of dads really don't understand how hard it is to be a stay at home mom, I put a lot of effort into entertaining her all day long and trying to teach her and feeding her all the time, she's exclusively breastfed so that takes hours at a time out of my day and night....it's exhausting mentally and physically 😴 he sympathizes but doesn't fully understand from my viewpoint I think....
@kreeblim, you're not kiddin...I agree, I've said my peace and am chilling on the couch for a bit, I can't stay for long out here though cuz his parents will be down around 5-6 and I don't breastfeed in front of them....besides they hate it when we're up late too lol....I don't usually take their side because they're ass holes (looong story) but on this one I agree 😜
@kaibriellelove, ugh cuz of his new job, he needs to bring it in later today when he goes in for work, he doesn't work until 4pm but since he's been up all night, he needs to sleep before work.....it's a vicious cycle, he just sucks so bad with his timing and he even knows he does most of the time but he still falls into the same patterns....like I said I'm trying to be nice but it's damn hard when I'm this friggin tired 😡😴 lol
Yeah, dude it's time to sleep. He really should wait, I don't think he fully realizes how exhausting it is to entertain and feed a baby and do all the other stuff we have to do during the day and then to only have what little sleep we get be ruined :( sometimes you have to pick your battles. Sleep is an important battle.

he can suffer he is a man ! why should you have to suffer ? but not him .... he at least needs a reality check
