okay, so my membranes were swept around 3 pm, lower back pain started about 7 pm, lost some of the mucus plug but with DARK red blood instead of blood tinged, and now i cant sleep because of this INSANE pressure! shes staying tight and moving steady though. And lets not forget feeling like im sitting in water but only a few drips. any thoughts on what to do?

its good that your almost 2 cm though! that might bump you up to 4. tell them to stretch your cervix too while they are down there to speed things along
no no dont be nervous. the sweep can either make you go into labor within a few hours or within a few days. they told me if i wasnt in labor by the end of the weekend they will induce me the 23rd. im not waiting til next Saturday lmao i want her out
My doctor won't induce me at 39 weeks like he said but he will do the membrane sweep. I was almost 2 cm Monday. ive been having crazy pressure all day an getting sharp pains shooting down my legs. I'm just nervous about getting that sweep done.. @kaylee116
its EXTREMELY uncomfortable. like hurts from the inside out but as soon as they pull their hand out its just a little sore after. but god it helps. i was 1 cm before at 2 pm today and now im at 3 cm and dreading the pressure

I had a friend that was leaking and she hot an infection and had to have a emergency c-section. everything ended up okay at the end
