I got diagnosed with anxiety/panic disorder over 10 years ago and have been on meds since I was diagnosed. it has gotten so much better over the years and was completely manageable but sky rocketed not too long after I found out I was pregnant. I've tripled my medication dosage and it got better for a month but started getting worse again this week...I haven't gone to work all week. it's so frustrating and embarrassing especially when people don't understand. I need to figure something out 😩

I starting having anxiety symptoms 2 yrs ago. And I started taking vitamins and I got it under control. Then I got pregnant and my hormones got out of control and then it balanced itself out again. So hopefully you'll be ok soon

@royalmommy, it's definitely the hormones because I had been doing great for awhile 😕 I was told that it'll probably keep changing throughout my pregnancy. it sucks

I've had a severe anxiety disorder since I was 9... I am going to be 24 soon.. I've been through the ringer over the years, trying to find a medication that helps. I decided to not take anything while pregnant. Some days are okay.. Some aren't. I can't sleep.. It's hard. I'm telling you this because I understand, and you are not alone. Your hormones acting up just seem to worsen it. Hold on girl.. This pregnancy has gone so fast, and It'll be over before you know it. It sounds silly, but camomile tea has become my BEST FRIEND there last 32 weeks! 10 cups a day sometimes.. Do some research.. Find some remedies, some coping skills.. Maybe even invest in a anxiety mister.. It's kind of expensive, but the scent in this mister really does help my nerves, as clichè as it sounds. Coming from somebody who was prescribed 12mgs of Xanax at 14 years old (that's not a typo, 12mgs!!) and somebody who Can only work a part time job. You'll get through this. WE WILL get through this. Keep reminding yourself.. Some days are worse than others.

@peaceofheaven121, thank you so much! I'm considering looking for a part time job because I'm currently working third shift an hour away from where I live and it's not doing it for me...I'm getting stressed out because I don't know what to do anymore and I'm afraid of being financially okay once the baby's here if I'm not working full time. I would loveee to just be a stay at home mom. It's so weird I just DON'T want to go to work. I tried to go last night and made it half way there and just started bawling my eyes out and couldn't stop crying so I turned around and went home

I feel the same way about finances.. It's scary. It's hard when the whole drive to work is your head spinning with thoughts and yes bawling before you have to go inside.. Maybe even bawling in the bathroom on your break. Ugh. Start researching. Try to make yourself as comfortable as you can. The only reason I'm even able to only work part time is because I fortunately was placed on disability. It's just not enough. Finances stress you out!! That little bundle of joy inside you is counting on you to be as stress free as possible. I'm nervous because my daughters heart rate is always so high.. God forbid my stress has hurt her in any way.. I don't know if I could forgive myself.
