My birth story: Adalyn is my 3rd child. two days before she was born I went in for my checkup and I asked to get stripped. I was just so miserable. my fist child I had at 37 weeks and my 2nd at 38 weeks. well the doctor stripped me and did an ultrasound to check fluid and everything was good. I was hoping I would go into labor that night. well the next day I had no contractions I managed to clean the whole house. that night we went walking around the mall. @ 9:00pm i felt what I thought was just BH contractions they did not hurt at all but where regular so I started to time them. @ 12:40 I called the obgyn just let her know they were regular and she said come on in to get checked. so I woke my husband up and left for the hospital in which was 45 minutes away. we got to the hospital about 1:20 and my contractions we're still regular but no pain I was only dilated to a3 but they wanted to keep me anyways because I live 45 minutes away. around 5 o'clock in the morning I my contractions started to hurt and I got my epidural. at 8 o'clock I told the nurse that I had to push in at 8:01 she was born with the cord wrapped around her neck twice I got to pull her out and put her on my chest but she was not breathing so they took her away from me I finally got her to breath she weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces 20 in a quarter long. they told me if I didn't push the way I did she wouldn't have made it.
