Medicaid doesn't do free breast pumps. have to rent one from wic

@mrsgeorge, that is not true. I have medicaid and I just have to get RX from my dr and they will send one for free.

well I called them about it and was told no they don't do that @mommabear3cubs

@mrsgeorge, if you qualify for Medicaid you get a free breast pump though either rx or wic gives them for free

wic only rents them out. and Medicaid told me they don't do pumps. so,idk.

I have Medicaid and they told me the only way they give you a pump is if your baby had a hard time latching and you get a prescription or if they go to nicu. But I think every state / hmo is probably different.

i live in texas as well, & got a free pump, only thing is you can't fill out the form unless you're 30 days within your due date. its a fast process and it will be shipped to you within 2-3days
