Anybody take zofran while pregnant? My doctor proscribed it to be but nervous cuz I see all this stuff about it causing birth defects on tv

I have 2 types of it and take it when needed. The infomercials are old, it was never proven that zofran is the reason for the birth defects. It wouldn't still be on the market if it was really that unsafe!
