what's going on with my body? some advice please, i started spouting 2 days early, then on the 3rd day, when my period was supposed to start i had a medium flow that lasted a day and a half and then nothing. last week i had a blood draw done to measure hcg, and it came back negative. I'm wondering what could be going on. i have had irregular periods that start at diifernt dates, and sometimes have had 2 periods in a month in the past. however they are always 5 days long, every time.

last month was the first period i got after having my son, (i had my son in September and he's exclusively breastfeeding) and it was heavy and 5 days.

I'm wondering if this could be implantation bleeding and I'm wondering how long i should wait to take a test. I'm just super confused. could anyone offer advice?
