Currently 34 weeks and my doctor has never checked my cervix. Is that normal? My next appointment is at 36 weeks should they check it then?
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
What all happens at the 36 week check up?
Ladies who are 36 weeks and further... Does your doctor check your cervix each week? Mine said he's not checking mine until my due date which I think is crazy
Last 4 week appointment is June 9th than I'll be going every 2 weeks I'll be like 35 weeks for my first 2 week check up. Wish I could have started the 2 week check up today 😩😩 June 9th is SOOO far away... 😭

i believe they start at 36 weeks

I'm 38 weeks going on 39 Saturday and I haven't been checked for dilation.

@monica2009, @mypregnancy_journey thank you I just don't want to be dilated and not even know it :P but I haven't even had any contractions or Braxton hicks at all during the pregnancy so that worries me as well

I go back on Tuesday so I'm going to mention it to them. I found it weird they just tested me for the strep b but didn't check for dilation.

My doctor didn't check mine until 36 weeks. Very normal.

Most doctors won't check until 36 weeks to avoid irritation. Totally normal

my doctor didnt check me either.. not at 34 or 36 weeks then i had my baby at 37wks.. so i never got checked at all

I have twins coming so I will have to have a cervix test every month to make sure I'm not at risk for preterm labor. Single pregnancies don't need that much monitoring.

my Dr didn't check mine until 38 weeks. it was disappointing for me though.
