serious question though... how common is it to have to get induced...at first I really wanted to get induced so I can have my BD come from out of state to be there for the birth but now i don't think I want to deal with medically induced contractions...lol..😟
I want to avoid it lol my question was how common is it for you to have to be induced @xhmama
Just remember anything that is put in your system goes through your babies system. Obviously there are times when you need to be induced but if you can avoid it I would. There are a lot of natural ways to induce labor.
Ya i was worried about it to an didnt wanna be induced i wanted everything to happen naturally but it didnt but i didnt feel pain untill after they broke my water... An i think i made it throygh like 2 or so hours of hard contractions an then i had to get that epidural an oh it was wonderful ha i wasnt stoned but helped me to be able to relax but i must have a high pain tolerance it wore off they had to give me alittle more an by the time i had to push if was a diff kinda pain but i felt the whole thing an ppl say pushing is the easy part but its not always lol
yeah I was so upset after my c section. we are trying for a vbac this time
they gave me pain medicine which knocked me out for like 3 hours lol then broke my water then the back labor started lol got the epi at 4 cms lol
I had to be induced my water broke at 35 weeks and I wasn't dilating my contractions for the first 4 hrs was bearable but after that they sucked they came every 2-3 secs lasting 30 sec to a min I got the epidural at that point which I was at 6&1/2 cms which then I felt nothing at all
oh of course I will need the epidural I can't even deal with an upset stomach😂😂 but yeah just preparing your self for that day seemed so much better but I'm not really okay with the medically induced contractions lol @kmrie
I'm pretty sure I'll be worse than you lol tattoos are the worse pain I can tolerate @brantleysmomma15 . I don't want to get induced anymore though but it seems like its more common than going into labor naturally! I definitely don't want a csection though I'd be devastated @laytons_mommy
Oh an i had a natural birth an i didnt choose to be induced i had no choice...
I was induced aswell an ya its not fun either but then its also kinda nice knowing when everythings gunna happen cuz its kinda scheduled an if you do need epidural then your alrwady hooked up an ready to go your already ready to go but ya not sure how it is to just have your water break an go into the hospital an get hooked up cuz they broke my water after so long..
I was induced and it's not fun at all. the contractions come on stronger and faster and there are a lot of complications that can be associated with induction. it also increased your risk of c-section. if you can I would avoid induction. mine ended in an emergency c-section
i was induced... it sucked!!! i had back labor omg dude i was screaming and crying but thats just me tho.
You guys I really don’t wanna get induced I want him to come natural. What can I do ??? Oh and I have to get induced I’m High Risk and I have GD 😩

My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
Have anybody been induced with pitocin and did not get the epidural? I don't want to be induced but I have to so I'm wondering what was other experiences when it came to the pitocin and epidural. I want to try and resist getting the epidural.
Did anyone have low amniotic fluid if so what happened? I have to get retested in the morning if it's still low they want to induce me at 36 weeks.
Ladies getting induced on August 15 have any of you got induced how is it what am I looking forward to so nervous 😬
There are a lot of hospitals that list their induction and cesarean rates online. It varies so much by hospital which is kinda scary when u think about it. Some hospitals may push induction just to get you in and out quicker 😳
