you can always call and ask your doctor, I would. I have called them after I had my boys and asked questions.

Some girls actually don't even get checked at their 6 week appt. their doctor basically just asks questions and then gives them the clear. If you have a regular vaginal birth with no complications, and you've been feeling fine this past 6/7 weeks with no issues, then I think you're good!!

have you went to your OBGY after you had your baby if not then you should wait until you go they will tell you if you can or not .

Whaaaaaa 5 months?! The fuck girl you need to be checked! Wow! Well I used tampons at like 8 weeks pp and was fine, I did find it kind of uncomfortable though. I'm pretty sure you'd be okay to use them, but to be on the safe side I would wait a couple more weeks...just for the extra healing and maybe even try to see a doctor before then. But I definitely think in a couple weeks using tampons would be fine!! That's just me tho :)

@twinmamma2015, my paperwork from leaving the hospital says no sex, tampons, and all till 6 weeks that's why I was confused since my doctor didn't say anything

That's the thing @queendavis I went to my 6 week check up and my doctor was suppose to check me and give me my birth control prescription and all. Instead he had an emergency call so he didn't and they just gave me my prescription and told me see you in 5 months... I'm looking for a new doctor now because I'm not pleased how that went they should've rescheduled me sooner than 5 months out if you ask me .

I wouldn't because your body is cleaning out everything from the past 9 months. my doc said not to until I got the ok.
