My ex contacted me and hasn't really been here at all for me through my pregnancy and has only been to my first ultra sound. It's been two months since we communicated and now all of sudden my ex wants to be in my son's life.. But then says if I say no that he respects that and he'll just leave us alone.. I'm glad this is nothing to him when we planned to have this baby together and raise Ethan. Now he's with someone else and idk what to do.. If I should just give up on him and do this alone. I rather him just stay out of my baby's life then keep coming in and out. I just don't know what to do..

Same situation, it's hard especially when your son actually bonds with him like mine and gets used to them being around & then they walk away. I'm protecting my baby this time , its so hard to get him back to normal once he realizes that his dad left. Even when they're small it still makes an impact
