cant get my son to latch so i have an electric pump from wic they said my supply will dry up due to him not breast feeding. is this true? i pump every 3 hours. im doing whatever it takes to not put him on formula. help??
@arich13, how much are they? i wanted to get one vut didnt wanna send the husband to the store ifnit wasnt worth it
I had that problem also. My nipples were to small for his mouth. I used a nipples shield. That helped a lot with the latch.
mothers milk is a tea im not sure about thistle sorry. there's also pills. ive never tried any of it I didn't need any help when breast feeding...
thank you. i still try every day i just have small nipples
as long as you're pumping you won't lose it. it may decrease. keep trying to latch. his saliva tells your body to make milk. stay hydrated (aim for as least half your body weight in oz per day) smart water and Gatorade will help you stay hydrated. almonds. steel cut oats. lactation brownies/cookies/smoothies.
No as long as you have some type of stimulation it wont dry up. My son wouldn't latch either but i couldn't breastfeed anyway due to bipolar medication but i even tried to pump but it hurt too bad.
a lot of times it does slow because it's not the same. try nipple stimulation and mothers milk to keep it up as much as possible
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
My son loves the bottle more than my breast 😫 he gets so fussy when I give him my breast but has no issue with with bottle. As long as his eating I’m okay with it. I’ve been pumping and I hate pumping!!
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
Breast pump covered by insurance
I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
perfect thank you
