So my doctor is kind of pushy. My 36 week appt. is next week and at my last appt. she said"next appointment things start to get more intense. We will do our GbS swab and check your cervix" and at the time I didn't say anything about it... She totally intimidates me. I just don't really want to have my cervix checked until I'm closer to my due date like maybe start at 38 weeks. I just don't see the need for it since it's not a real indication of how close labor is and can be uncomfortable and cause bleeding from what I understand (FTM here). I'm worried now about declining the cervix check (obviously totally fine with the GBS) next week especially because I feel like my doctor is going to try and talk me into it for some reason... Anyone else have an experience like this with their doc? Any advice on what to say next week?
