I am going crazy....I have super dry skin on my knuckles and I get it sometimes when I overwash my hands or sanitize them too much or both. Lotion and vaseline work somewhat well on that area. But for the past week, I have had a super itchy patch of skin near the bottom of my habd on my wrist that kind of wraps around my wrist, and there are tons of tiny itchy bumps within it. No lotion, vaseline or anything will heal it or help. what do I do?

maybe apply something maybe like coconut oil and wrap it for a while I'm not too sure but it's worth a shot !

Have you tried Aquaphor? That might help...

so at night before you go to bed cover your hands in a thick layer of aquafor or Vaseline and cover them with surgical gloves! my mom was in nursing and from washing her hands a million times a day it would dry them out to where they would bleed! so she would do this every night and her hands were always perfect and smooth within 2 or so days of doing this! it's uncomfortable but works

@sarahemccormick, try st. Ives oatmeat and shea butter or gold bond eczema lotion

I had something similar to that on the backs of my hands. I think it was from a combination of cold, dry weather and washing my hands so much. I put neosporin on them a few times a day and it cleared right up.
