My little guy eats 3 oz every 2 hours or so,in the hospital at 2 days old he was drinking 2 oz of supplement formula. I didn't think 3 oz was a lot lol @lovemyson_610

his exact words were "that's a generous amount to give a 3 week old" but the doctor he had before that told me to let him eat as much as he wanted. So I did. When they're full, they'll stop eating. My son still doesn't always finish the full 6 oz now. But he eats so much baby food now, He hardly takes bottles anymore,

Why was the doc mad at you? Did he think t was too much or too little? Mine is taking 3 oz right now.

Maybe once they hit a certain age they stop at a certain amount kind of?

I was giving my son 4 oz. but the doc got kinda pissed at me about it, but he's only taking 6 oz now & he's 7 months old.
