My first doctor appointment is tomorrow and I'm hoping they will do a sonogram, but I've heard a lot of people say they didn't get one on their first visit. I thought they would need to just to make sure the baby isn't in a tube and is growing right. Did you guys have a sonogram on your first visit?

My first doctors appointment is finally scheduled for May 10th , ill be 11 weeks . My damn mother in law is trying to argue with me that they WILL do a vaginal sonogram , not the jelly on my belly . What's gonna happen ladies ?

I was 16wks at my first OB appointment because my Dr won't see you until you've missed at least 2 periods and I had to wait to get approved for medicaid and my Dr did a sonogram and we heard the heartbeat. we only thought I was 14wks so I found out I was 2wks further than I thought.

My first appointment was just a lot of blood draws, two pee tests, a pap, and lots of history. I met my doctor for about 5 minutes and the rest was with a nurse. I was 9 weeks at the time and got scheduled for an ultrasound two weeks later.

I got a transvaginal one right after the pap, I was only 9 weeks

I had a transvaginal one yes. I was also 8 weeks at my first appt.
