So proud of myself just passed my CPR class making a better future for my boys
@izzykkajs_momma, congratulations!!! what a great accomplishment.
I only know this stuff because I was a first responder/firefighter for 5 years and am a Certified Nursing Assistant (on my way to becoming a nurse) when you have to do CPR first aid for the first time its one of the scariest experiences ever 😩
Sorry I meant to put 2 fingers and yes @b3autifulm3ss is right you put the baby on your arm with your hand holding the jaw line with your arm resting on your leg and the same when you flip them over only your hand should be holding the back or the head and you only do this until they are 1 yrs old
there are slight variations depending on the age of the person 😊 I suggest watching a youtube video om it, just for piece of mind…
@mamamemh6364, yes it matters you dont use 5 fingers on a newborn. Also you are going to (if possible ) hang the baby 👶/toddler head down before hitting them on the back… it makes the object move down and out of the windpipe, if they are sitting totally up, when you hit them on the back there is a higher likelihood of it moving furthure down…
Yea I hear ya just remember 5 back slaps with the heel of your hand and then flip them on thier back with 5 finger press on the middle of the breastbone and you do that until whatever they r chocking on comes out
Yea so I've heard I never want to experience it and @mamamemh6364 you would do something way different for them but like @b3autifulm3ss said you look on YouTube for more clearer way to do it or if you have time see if they have a CPR class in your area and get certified
