My doctor gave me a go ahead to dye my hair AFTER the first trimester and if it was in a well ventilated room, which most salons are :) I would ask your doctor just to be sure because each pregnancy is at different risks

my drs said third trimester is ideal

I was in cosmetology school and we were taught as long as its ammonia free. I'd stay away from bleach while pregnant totally. And like the other ladies said make sure you're in well vented room. I've colored my hair twice since being pregnant so far and baby is perfect. 😀

And I was in my first trimester the first time I colored my hair as well. Just saying.

I've been coloring my hair the entire time I'm almost 23 weeks and my pregnancy is going very well :) I also did it when I was pregnant with my son and he's a normal healthy 7 year old! :) just stay in a well ventilated place if you do it at home have a small fab blow on your face to keep to fumes away.

I wonder if you can do organic hair dye? I'd ask the doctor since it's not as harsh
