I've never heard of that. I started accepting as they came in which was almost as soon as family found out, but mostly after we found out the gender.

a family friend gave me a picture frame and stroller & my sister gave me a changing table but the only thing i put in our room is the picture frame. how can i turn down other gifts without others thinking I'm rude?
