Having my daughter was the scariest thing I've had to encounter. I had surgery which I almost had a panic attack and I had a panic attack after the fact. It was All due to claustrophobia . The epidural made me feel like that because I couldnt move when I wanted to.

@snb1121, sounds similar to me. Be careful. And I'm not trying to scare you but the first break was on the Surgical table and I needed to cough. My chest felt compressed and they had my arms tried down . I couldn't do anything but turn my head. I forced my self to calm down when they tried to put a tube down my throat to auction it out. I wasn't doing that shit lol . Second time was after we got back to my room and I was in a smaller room with five people me and the baby in it . I fell asleep and they closed the door and turnt the heat up for the baby. When I woke up I felt like I was suffocating. And I couldn't get out the bed because my legs were still numb not like I could walk after the surgery right away anyways. I had to turn the air on open the door and use cold compress and slowly bring my self to sanity for my baby. Because at that point I didn't want anyone to touch me or be in my space. I didn't even want to hold my baby because I was afraid I would get worse. Be careful okay

@jaixi, wow I'm sorry that you had to go through that.. But I'm glad to know about it before I go into labor being clostrophobic and panicking is no joke I used to be on anti anxiety meds before I was pregnant
