You're welcome. Haha. I'm getting checked for the first time today. I think they start from anywhere from 34 to 36 weeks. This is my first baby, so I could be wrong on that.

@tattedmama, me and my husband are always having sex and I just wasn't sure when they start thinning and I'm scared that I'll end up having her before she's actually full term.

It all depends if your cervix is already thinning by itself having sex will make you go into labor there is no set time it happens it all depends on your body

It softens it at anytime I believe. I think at 36 or 37 weeks is when it starts to thin out.
