They check your sugar and make sure you don't have gestational diabetes. You drink this special drink and wait an hour then they take your blood. If you can pick, choice the clear (fruit punch) drink. It's actually pretty good.

u drink this drink (it can be nasty) . its really sweet and you wait an hour that they draw blood. the drink is to see how your body reacts or retains,sugar which let's you know if you have diabetes or not
