I agree with this. I tried breastfeeding but found I could only do it for the first two weeks of my son's life and then I ended up not producing enough and eventually I dried up. not every women can breastfeed and that's what society doesn't understand.

I like this. I'm currently breastfeeding my son who is 5 days old and sometimes I sit here and cry and want to give up because it hurts and sometimes he won't latch on and it gets frustrating. then there's that guilty feeling that comes with the thought of giving up. people need to mind their own business when it comes to things like this because you never know what the situation is.

I agree 100% I tried so hard for the first month of my son's life to breast feed but between him not latching properly and me not producing enough milk, it did not work out. I cried but I knew I gave it my best but he was getting fed and that was what was important

I couldn't/didn't breastfeed my first born. By day 3 he had lost too much weight- I took him back to the hospital and they told me to supplement which turned into fully formula fed. He gained weight and did just fine on it. My second baby was born 11 weeks early and the hospital was very breastfeeding friendly so it helped me be able to breastfeed towards the end of our nicu stay and other than the occasional times I give him preemie specific formula, he's fully breastfed. You know what though? It doesn't matter his you feed them as long as you do so, and keep them healthy.

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 yes! I exclusively pumped for 10 months then quit pumping because I had a good stash built up plus the older she got the harder it was to actually get my pump sessions in! We've been supplementing with formula because my stash wasn't as big as I thought if I wasn't a SAHM I wouldn't have been able to pump as long as I did! Feeding your baby is all that matters 🍼🍼
