Does the Spinal Shot hurt ????

it kinda sucks while its happening... and contractions at the same time its kinda terrible but its over quick and then you feel nothing. i couldnt lift my legs for nothing lol they had to hold them up for me to push. i couldnt figure out how to push because i couldnt feel anything lol when it wears off you kinda feel where the needle went it but its not terrible at all youll be more concentrated on your baby which is the best part lol. make sure you get up and walk around while still in the hospital. not right after obviously but the next day and stuff lol

epidural is a LIFE SAVOR!

what @babychloe said! the contractions make everything else a breeze. I didn't even feel them put a catheter in. Which I had a spinal tap not a epidural. Im not sure if they are exactly the same.

I've been told you'll only feel a pinch which is the first numbing shot and you will feel pressure with the actual spinal tap.
