Can babies just develop colic? Or do they have to be born with it?
My daughter is 3 months and her doctor says she's colic which is believable but when I asked what it was she said basically just a fussy baby they have no reason, and there's nothing you can do for it. But when I looked it up there's a reason behind it and lots you can do for it! Like changing their milk/formula which is why I called in the first place cause she spits up at least 3-4 oz of her feeding EVERY time and they say there's nothing wrong. It's so frustrating.
My daughter was the same way though, she would spit up half of her bottle, i tried feeding her on her left side and everything. After we put her on the new formula it took less then a week before we noticed how much better she was doing on it. She was on a soy formula, a gentlease formula, and a regular formula before this one.
See mines not constipated at all or anything really sometimes fussy but she just spits up. Every time almost her whole feeding so she eats again 45 mins or so later. It's frustrating
We had to switch formula 3 times before we found.one that worked for our daughter. She was always fussy, gassy, spitting up and constipated her dr said she had a protein allergy. He suggested Similac Alimentum, haven't had a problem since and she turns one next month.
