I've only ever had luck with depo. all the pills and patches made me sick and anemic and the patches made me have a period all month rather than stopping it. as for iuds, I've heard way too many people say that they've come out and they hurt and I don't really like the idea of some little piece of plastic being pushed in my vajayjay lol

I have the nexplanon and it goes in your arm. It last for 3 years and is the best one on the market it is proven to be 99.9% effective. And starts working immediately! I have it and I love it

I personally like the mirena the best outta all the birth control I've tried. it took my body about 5 months to get use to it (everyone is different so your body may adjust faster) and after we got the strings cut back so my hubby didn't hit them anymore it has been great. my periods are light. I havent gained weight and I don't even know its there. The thing I like the most is it last five years.
