I know it's really nothing but I feel like my doctor didn't give me enough information about Strep B and what should I do once I go into labor. She told me not to worry about nothing, but the more I read I see that my baby can be born with the infection or a still born baby. This is making me really upset and overwhelmed

yeah strep b is absolutely nothing to worry about. even if you come up positive, it doesn't mean it will be active when you give birth or that anything is any higher of a risk.

First calm down, do not Google, google is not your friend on this. I had strep b with my second baby, and everything is gonna be fine. They will give you an Iv when you are in labor and give you some antibiotics for it through it. If something would happen and the baby would contract it, it would just have to stay at the hospital a few extra days and get some medicine. But my baby didn't contract it and everything was healthy and perfect.
