Okay momma's, I know have asked tons of questions lately but I would much rather hear from experience than google, lol. My doctor has mentioned inducing me in the next week or so, but we haven't decided anything in detail. After just talking to my sister, I'm a little hesitant as to whether or not I'm wanting to do so, lol. I think I forgot to think about how rough and painful it can be. I'm a FTM so I have no experience with labor or anything that relates to it. Mommies that have been induced before, can you share your stories, experiences, opinions? Good and bad, don't worry about scaring me! I'd rather know the truth!
the actual pushing part was only about 3 hrs, because my little man got stuck - apparently I have really wide hips but a very narrow pelvic opening - contractions were only bad for about 2 hours, when I got the point that I couldn't take it, I was 10 cm anyway and they could only do an epidural or give me demerol. I don't like needles so I said no to the epidural and demerol can cause the baby to be sleepy, so I decided to power through. it honestly wasn't that bad. it sucks in the moment but I just kept telling myself that my body is supposed to handle this pain.
find out if you're considered high risk for any reason. if no, tell them you'd rather let labor come naturally.
I really would prefer to wait for baby to come on her own! I want her to be good and ready and I would ideally like to experience going into labor on my own :) I'm not sure if she is considering it "necessary" as she was so nonchalant about it, lol. My blood pressure has been higher than she'd like but she thinks it is due to my back injuries and the pain increasing as I grow bigger. So I'm not sure if it would be considered dangerous if that's the only reason it's high or not 😣 @mimiz @mrsgeorge @tayek
the contractions can be more painful, but I was able to power through it with no pain meds
Wait on baby! Natural labor isn't pain free BUT it is far less painful than induction.
When I'm in pain mine gets High but it goes right back to normal
